5 Can’t-Miss Easter Decorating Tips for Your Ministry
The Triumphal Entry
Easter Decorating Tip: Cut pieces of indoor/outdoor carpet into the shape of stones. Lay them on the floor to make a road for Jesus to walk on. If they slip, add some gaffer’s tape to keep them in place.
The Passover Meal
Decorating Tip: Have families eat this meal on the floor. Add warmth to the floor with blankets or woven rugs. Mexican blankets are perfect.
The Prison
Easter Decorating Tip: To make fake bars for the cell, take two long strips of gaffer’s tape and put the sticky sides together–thus making a sturdy black strip–and hang them from the ceiling to floor.
The Cross
Decorating Tip: Crumple lengths of the Stone Wall backdrop and tape it to the wall in the shape of a mountain. (This could also work for the tomb.)
The Joyful Road
Easter Decorating Tip: Use a painted and sanded tarp to make a “road” through the center of your area.
