3 Easter Snacks for Your Children’s Ministry
It’s wonderful when you can incorporate the Bible into snack time. Over at Almost Unschoolers, there are some great Easter treats that can help kids remember what they discovered about Easter. My favorites are the dipped pretzel crosses. They’re so simple to make and use in start-up discussions about Easter.
Snack 2. Healthy Easter Bunny
For those who would rather not give their kids a five-hour sugar rush, try a fruit-face snack. Arrange fruits, veggies, and other healthy snacks to match the face of a baby bunny or chick. Talk about how Jesus brings new life to those who put their faith in him.
Snack 3. Jesus Is Alive
Time not on your side? Here is a super-quick—and super-cheap—Easter snack that focuses on the empty tomb. Use a doughnut and an Oreo cookie to teach kids about how when the stone was rolled away from the tomb, Jesus wasn’t there! He is risen!
