Road Trip God Sightings for Families at Your Church

Springtime can be busy-time for families. Spring break and traveling to practices and sporting events lead to a lot of time spent in the car. Why not use some of that time to look for God? Road trip God sightings are a great way for families to have faith conversations—and they’re fun for kids!

Road Trip God Sightings

As families hit the road this spring or summer for their family vacations, give them a fun way to discover God on the road. Provide a “Road Trip God Sightings” page that includes ways families can see God while driving and exploring. For example, families can debrief at the end of the day and discuss people they met who showed them kindness, such as a person who helped with directions. Or they can describe what they saw in God’s amazing creation.

It’s especially powerful for children to see God in places all over the world. It helps kids to learn that God is everywhere and that they are never alone!
