A great way for your class to show their appreciation and say thank you to our military personnel for Memorial Day or Veterans Day.

  • Thank You — Collect photos of the youngest generation in your family. Create a collage of these little faces and write across the bottom: “Thank you for ensuring the safety of the littlest generation!”
  • Breakfast of Champions — Invite veterans in your church and family to your home for a delicious brunch in their honor.
  • Memory Box — Decorate a sturdy cardboard box that has a removable lid with military decorations. Give the box as a gift for your treasured veteran to store memorabilia.
  • My Hero — Along with your children, make a list of all the reasons you respect and honor your veteran. Mail the letter, or present it in person.
