  1. Bugs AwayGive away cans of mosquito repellent.
  2. A Cold DrinkBring ice chests full of canned soft drinks to give away.
  3. Puppet ShowBefore sundown, have your puppet team present a drama about freedom in Christ.
  4. Roving PaintersFace-paint children with symbols of God’s love, such as a cross, a dove, or a rainbow. Make sure you’re using face paint, available at craft stores or on Amazon.

Before you leave the church for your Independence Day outreach event, share this scripture with your volunteers. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” –Galatians 5:1. Pray and ask God to give you the courage and guidance on who to talk to.
