Craft Tips to Make Your Preschool Sunday School Run Smoothly

1. Easy Preschool Craft Labels

Try this creative way to keep each child’s crafts clearly identified to avoid end-of-class confusion.

In our Sunday school class, it’s hard to find time to write each child’s name on his or her craft. So we created pre-printed peel-and-stick name labels for each child to place on crafts or other take-home items. Each class also has extra blank labels for visitors.

2. Preschool Marker Block

Our preschoolers love to draw with markers but so often lose or forget to replace the caps. We created a simple marker caddy which has worked well for us.

Using a block of wood at least 3 1/2 inches thick, we drilled holes so each hole snuggly held a marker cap. We secured the caps in the holes with a small amount of craft glue. We then placed the marker in the corresponding cap. When markers dry out, we change the cap and marker.

Children use the markers and replace them in the correct cap. There’s no reason for children to lose tops, markers seem to last longer, and children learn to match the color of the marker with its top.
