3 Ways to Have Laundry Basket Fun in Your Nursery
Nursery Game 1: Baby Moses in a Laundry Basket
Wrap a doll in a blanket and place it in the basket. Tell toddlers how God helped baby Moses and kept him safe by placing him in a basket (Exodus 2:1-10). Show toddlers how to place the baby in the basket and push it across the room.
Nursery Game 2: Miraculous Catch
Place toddlers in the laundry basket and gently push them around the room as other children place plastic or stuffed fish in the basket. Tell children about how Jesus and his friends went fishing and caught lots of fish (Luke 5:1-11).
Nursery Game 3: Tons of Food
Have toddlers fill the laundry basket with plastic food items. Have the toddlers push the basket around the room, sharing the pretend food with others. Talk about how a little boy shared his lunch with lots of people in the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 men (Matthew 14:13-21).
