Simple Preschool Christmas Song: God’s Little Lamb

Before you sing, say: At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus! One name the Bible uses for Jesus is “the Lamb of God.” Let’s sing a Christmas song about Jesus as the Lamb.

Then lead the preschoolers in singing:

Mary gave birth to God’s lamb,
to God’s lamb,
to God’s lamb.
Mary gave birth to God’s lamb;
he washed us white as snow.

After you’re done singing, say: Jesus came to forgive us of our sins. He forgives us for the things we do wrong. It’s kind of like when you’re dirty and get washed clean. Let’s pretend to wash ourselves with little lambs as we sing this Christmas song again.

Make sure to give each child a cotton ball so kids can scrub their arms and hands, and sing the God’s Little Lamb song again.
