Simple Preschool Craft: A Flower Gift for Someone Special
Kids love being able to celebrate their moms throughout the entire year, but especially on Mother’s Day! Preschoolers will enjoy making a special flower gift for Mother’s Day. After you’ve completed the craft, tell them to give this beautiful gift to their mom or another special woman, like an aunt, grandma, or foster mom, in their lives.
Simple Preschool Craft: A Flower Gift for Someone Special
For each child, you’ll need:
- large macrame bead
- small silk flowers
- play dough
First, have children each select a bead and silk flowers. Then help them each fill their beads with play dough. This might be harder for your younger preschoolers so ensure you have adult volunteers helping when needed. Afterward, help them stick their flowers’ stems into the play dough in their beads.
The bead becomes the vase for the flowers. Encourage children each to give their gift to mom (or another special lady) for Mother’s Day.
