What to do:

1. Cut eight flower shapes from construction paper.

2. Cut a slit in the center of each paper plate and then cut it in triangle slices like a pie.

3. Bend the triangle shapes up to form leaves.

4. Glue the flowers onto the tips of the leaves.

Have kids talk about how their flower crowns are like and unlike the crown of thorns Jesus wore on the cross.

  1. We are a small church. I have been using many of your lessons for approximately three years. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful lessons and ideas. Your lessons have blest so many young hearts. Your lessons show teachers how your heart is filled with God’s love and tenderness for getting our children off to knowing and loving God at a young age. Thank you so much. May God bless you as you continue your ministry to children.
