A Christmas Craft: Tree-Mendous Blessings

This cute Christmas craft: Tree-Mendous Blessings will encourage families to take a moment to pause and count their blessings this Christmas.

What you’ll need:

  • a set of 4 craft sticks in 4 different lengths for each person
  • 1 long craft stick
  • markers (lots of green plus other colors)
  • 1 chenille wire per person
  • glue
  • decorating items

A Christmas Craft: Tree-Mendous Blessings

First, give kids a set of craft sticks to color: one long craft stick brown for a tree trunk and the rest green for branches. Then, glue the branches onto the trunk to create a  tree shape. As the glue dries, talk about people they’re grateful for. Then write the names of those people on the branches of the tree. Finally, glue a chenille-wire loop onto the back of the tree to create a hanger.

Kids can take their trees home, share the names with their families, and hang their trees on the family Christmas tree. Encourage families to thank God for the blessings of all the wonderful people God has given them.
