An energetic game that teaches kids to share one another's
burdens.
Construct simple dog sleds from long pieces of cardboard. The
side-piece of a refrigerator box will work well. Poke two holes in
one short end of the cardboard and thread a piece of strong rope
through the holes. Tie a loop in the rope to make a handle for the
dog sled.
Form teams of four. Mark off an area of uncarpeted floor into
lanes for the dog sled racers. Each person on the team will pull
his teammates one-quarter of the way down the lane. Then teammates
switch until everyone has a turn.
Afterward, read aloud Galatians 6:2. Discuss what it means to bear
one another's burdens and to help each other when it's not easy to
do so.
