Here’s your latest Keeping Current TV review for September and October of 2018: Power Rangers Ninja Steel.
Released in 2017, this TV show has already made a name for itself as a nominee in the 2018 Kid’s Choice Awards. Power Rangers Ninja Steel is about a team of superhumans who work together to fight evil. They use their ninja powers to protect the universe when the Galaxy Warriors are trying to destroy it. In their downtime, the Power Rangers are teenagers in a high school, experiencing typical American teenage lives.
This Nickelodeon hit might be too young for older preteens, but it may interest many younger preteens. Because the teenage ninjas are working to fight evil powers, it’s generally an okay show for kids. It’s also rated Y7, making it pretty safe in regard to language, sexuality, and substance abuse. The ninja fighting isn’t intense and includes humor.
