10 Positive Affirmations to Share With Your Team

Here are 10 affirmations that you can share with your team to boost their spirits and let them know you’re thinking of them!

You’re awesome! What you do isn’t easy (but you sure make it look like it is). You give it your all, and you’re making an eternal difference because of it. And not only are you totally amazing, your team is as well!

10 Positive Affirmations to Share With Your Team

General Affirmations

1. Thank you for being a person in children’s lives that they can trust. You are teaching children the foundations of trusting in Jesus.

2. God cares about each child in your ministry. Thank you for noticing each child and giving children personal attention that shows them how much you value them. You are showing children the love of God.

3. Remember as you teach your students that what you say may very well bless the hearts of adults at home!

4. You are the one who answered the call. You are the one who arrives early, sun or snow, to make sure everything’s ready for class because this could be the lesson that leads a child to Christ. God called. And you are the one who answered. Thank you.

Scriptures About God’s Word

5. “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

God’s Word is powerful. Even when you feel like you’re struggling as a teacher, God’s Word is powerfully impacting the lives of the children in your class.

6. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up” (Deuteronomy 6:5-7).

Thank you for listening to God’s Word and sharing him with the children in your class.

Scriptures About Relying on God

7. “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it” (John 14:13-14).

Ask God to lead your lesson this week. Ask him to do miraculous things in your classroom.

8. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

Remember that you are more than a teacher to the children in your ministry. You are there to show them kindness, compassion, and comfort that comes from God the Father.

Scriptures About God’s Love and Attention

9. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” (Colossians 3:23).

No matter what your role is in the church, perform it to the best of your ability. Even if you think no one notices your efforts, God does!

10. “Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else” (2 Corinthians 9:13).

Though you may not often hear words of thanks from the children in your class, these children will grow up knowing the love of God as a result of your obedience.
