An interesting thing happened to me in church yesterday--God
spoke to me! And specifically about a Scripture to claim as my
theme verse for 2013.
It's 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Always be joyful. Never stop
praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will
for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
I love its simplicity and its profundity! We often wonder what
God's will is for us. And here it is--clear as a bell: joy, prayer,
gratitude.
I don't know what 2013 holds, but I do know that God holds 2013.
And this is his will for me--what he is calling me to:
Joy
Prayer
Gratitude
