is its religious meaning.  Translation:  Parents are
unlikely to tell their preschoolers about Jesus’ birth, even if
they celebrate Christmas.  So encourage your preschoolers

MORE DIAGNOSED, MORE GRACE How much grace do
you have for distracted kids on Sunday morning?  1 in 10 kids
ages 4 to 17 in the U.S. is diagnosed with ADHD.  Kids
ages 4 to 10 were less likely to take medication than those 11 to

KIDS IN FOSTER CARE At the end of 2009, there
were 423,773 children in foster care in the U.S., according to the
Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System
(AFCARS).  Kids age 11 to 15 make up 24% of all foster

FEWER VOLUNTEERS GIVING MORE TIME  The
national volunteer rate dipped slightly from 26.8% to 26.3% in
2010, but the number of hours served by volunteers stayed about the
same at 8.1 billion hours, according to the annual; Volunteering in
