With school coming to an end, it's a great time to have
kids look back at times they knew God was present...
Read aloud Isaiah 41:10. Put up a large piece of butcher paper,
and mark off a few defining events such as last year's vacation
Bible school, Christmas, and spring break. Give children each three
sticky notes and ask them to write on each note a time they had an
answer to prayer, learned something about God, or felt that God was
close to them. One at a time, children can place each note on the
timeline and explain its significance. End with a prayer of
thanksgiving for God's presence in children's lives throughout the
year.
