Prayerful Harvest

You’ll need a small branch, a stapler, paper apples, pencils,
pins, a small basket, and a thumbtack. Staple the small branch to a
bulletin board. Use the thumbtack to attach the small basket at the
bottom of the branch.

As you ask for children’s prayer requests, help or have them
each write a brief description of their request on a paper apple.
Pin the apples near the branch. The next week, have children tell
how God has answered their prayers. As each prayer is answered,
harvest that prayer apple from the branch and place it in the
basket. This will help strengthen children’s faith as they see how
God answers prayer.
