Picture Windows

One simple way to soothe young children and help them learn
about God is to create picture windows in your room. Use
construction paper to create the panes of your window, and then put
a different picture (theme-based, seasonal, or biblical images) in
each pane. Add more color with curtains. As you walk around with
babies, talk to them about the pictures they see. Talk about the
things God created or the things he did in the Bible. The bright
colors and your voice will soothe little ones–and they’ll learn
about God at the same time.
