Encourage preschoolers to learn the names and faces
of their church friends-and that God loves each of them-with this
game.
Take a digital photo of each child in your class and print two
copies of each picture. On the back side of the photos, write, "God
loves..."
To play, mix the photos and place them face down on a table or
floor. Have kids take turns flipping over one photo and together
saying, "God loves name of the child pictured." Then let the same
child flip another photo to try to find a match. If it's a match,
put those photos aside and continue the game until all photo pairs
have been matched. Kids will enjoy trying to match faces and have a
great time remembering that God loves everyone in their class.
