Every leader who communicates with volunteers knows how
frustrating it is to create a wonderful schedule, print it, and
mail it…only to find out later that some volunteers lost their
schedules.
Since I serve as children's pastor at a midsize church with over
70 volunteers, schedules are a must. And they change a few times
each year.
To solve our lost-schedule dilemma, I printed the schedule on a
white magnetic material that'll print from a color printer. I
usually get six schedules per sheet. I then cut the material into
squares and sent out the magnetic schedules. Our volunteers placed
them on the microwave or freezer and never lost them again!
