Help little ones create this keepsake heart for
Valentine's Day.
You'll need pink and purple washable paints, wide paintbrushes,
white construction paper, and markers.
Paint children's palms and fingers, one hand at a time. Press the
entire hand to the paper, fingers together, and palms slightly at
an angle on the page. Wash that hand while the paint has time to
dry. Use the opposite color and hand to press on the other side of
the first handprint, forming a heart shape.
After the prints dry, write at the top, "You will always have my
heart! Happy Valentine's Day!" and then write the child's name. Let
little ones give their special Valentine to whomever they
choose.
