Leadership / Oversight FREE Downloadable Handbook Template Children's Ministry Magazine Here's a FREE Downloadable Handbook Template -- so you don't have to start from scratch! It's important that you don't just implement a handbook from another church. It's great to get ideas from them, but your handbook needs to reflect the issues and culture of your own church. To help you do that, we've put together a template that contains several potential pages for your handbook. Examine each section and read our rationale for the importance of each page. Then download the pages you want (being very sure of your reasoning for leaving something out!) and customize them for your church. Mix and match them to produce a handbook that's just right for you. Before you begin, please read this important information regarding the template. Each of these sections is stored in "Rich Text Format", also called RTF. This format can be used by nearly all word processors, no matter what type of computer you have. To download a section of the template, PC users should right click on the document's link and choose "Save (Link) Target As…". For Mac users, hold down the control button on your keyboard, click on the link and choose the "Download link to disk" option.
