Back-to-School Sunday School Craft: Prayer Partners

Print Friendly

Connect kids with a prayer partner for the new school year with this unique kidmin craft from Children’s Ministry Magazine’s Age Level Insights 6 to 9 column.

Supplies: large jigsaw puzzle pieces; paper; markers; scissors; key rings; metal lanyard hooks (available at craft stores); glue; clear packing tape; a hole punch.

Prayer partners select two interlocking puzzle pieces, then trace a puzzle piece onto paper.

Cut out the tracing and glue it onto the puzzle piece. Kids can write their prayer partner’s name on the puzzle piece, decorate it, then cover it with packing tape.

Attach the lanyard hook and key ring so kids can wear their puzzle pieces on their backpacks as a reminder to pray for their partners.
