Easter may bring a wave of new kids to your class. Use this
experience to help kids discover all the things they have in common
with each other.
Ask all kids to name ways they think they’re alike, such as
they’re all in the same grade or they all attended an Easter
service at your church. Then form groups of three and allow time
for each group to discover one additional thing all three kids have
in common. Allow time for groups to share their discoveries. Then
have kids form new groups and repeat the activity. Close with a
prayer, thanking God for the many things we have in common.
Send your kid quotes with the child’s name and age to “Kid
Quote,” Children’s Ministry Magazine, P.O. Box 481, Loveland,
Colorado 80539-0481, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If we
publish your quote, we’ll pay you $25.
