Create several take-home book bags for parents to check out.
Put a Bible-story board book and a toy that goes along with the
story in a gallon-size resealable plastic freezer bag. For example,
you might pair a book about Jonah with a plastic fish, or a book
about David the shepherd boy with a stuffed lamb or a noisemaker
that bleats. Be careful that the toys pass your most stringent
safety inspection. Add 3x5 cards printed with activities or songs
from your curriculum that relate to the Bible story. Encourage
parents to take home a different bag each week to use with their
child.
