Christmas Baby Bells

Print Friendly

Help babies give musical praise during the holiday season by making them a pair of Christmas Baby Bells.

For each infant, you’ll need a red pair and a green pair of socks, one size larger than the baby’s feet.

Turn one sock from each pair inside out and stitch two 1-inch jingle bells to the end of each toe. Turn the socks right-side out.

Using your fingers, fit the socks with bells inside their mates, matching toes and heels. The jingle bells should be between the socks to keep them in place. Stitch the tops of the cuffs together.

Put these socks on the baby over his or her shoes. Sing this song to the tune of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat,” moving the baby’s feet in rhythm:

Shake, shake, shake those bells Christ the Lord is born! Shake, shake, shake those bells This happy Christmas morn!
