At Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, our families
tend a garden that benefits underprivileged families.

On an open area of our church property, families can each adopt a
10×10-foot plot to plant and grow fruits, vegetables, or flowers.
Throughout the spring and summer months, families tend their garden
areas and build relationships with other church families. The
church posts gardening links, photos, message boards, and how-to
videos on our website.

At harvest time, families take some of their produce home to enjoy
and then share their remaining bounty with neighbors, soup
kitchens, or families in need. This project has been a great way
for our families to build relationships with each other and serve
our community.
