Elementary Craft: Extra! Extra! Father’s Day Cards

Use pre-printed pages for children to color during worship or Sunday school on Father’s Day. They can then give their dads the Father’s Day cards they make!

Elementary Craft: Extra! Extra! Father’s Day Cards

Design your pre-printed page to look like the front page of a newspaper. Have one column contain Bible verses about fathers. Then provide a space that’s a frame where kids can draw their fathers. Lastly, have one column that has a half-written poem that children can each complete about their favorite things about their father.

Here’s the poem we used for the Father’s Day newspaper cards:

On Father’s Day, I think of you and all the super things you do.
I love it when we ________ .
and you’re so good at ________ .
If I could give you any gift, it would be ________ .
Thank you, Dad, for ________ .

This is a great card for kids to give their dads to celebrate their love on Father’s Day!
